Styles
Melendi plays three types of musical styles:
· Rumba flamenca : Is a particular flamenco which is moving, it usually employ male and female voices, although there are also instrumental executions like the palmas, the flamenco guitar and castanets.
· Pop : It’s a combination of different musical genres highly popular within a society. This type of music is basically made to be marketed.
· Alternative rock : It refers to a set of rock genres. It also has strong influences from hard rock in the aggressiveness of some songs, speed and well crafted ( bien trabajados ) guitar solos and energetic.

The beginning of his artistic life
· In 2001 he joined a group, The Sherwood Forest. Later he recorded a solo demo containing three themes : Sin noticias de Holanda, Vuelvo a traficar y el Informe forense.
· In February 2003 he released his first album SIN NOTICIAS DE HOLANDA . The music and the lyrics were composed by him , and the album was produced with great success. In May of the same year he began a tour through the halls of Spain. People were shocked and in September of the same year he began to gain fans, whom he treated as if they were his family.
· In 2005 he released his second album QUE EL CIELO ESPERE SENTAO .
· In 2006 he released his third album MIENTRAS NO CUESTE TRABAJO .
· In 2008 he released his fourth album CURIOSA LA CARA DE TU PADRE .
· In 2009 he released his fifth album AÚN MÁS CURIOSA LA CARA DE TU PADRE .
· In 2010 he released his sixth album VOLVÁMOS A EMPEZAR .
· In 2014 he released his seventh album LÁGRIMAS DESORDENADAS .
· Nowadays he is going to released his eigth album TOCADO Y HUNDIDO.

Biography
Ramon Melendi Espina was born on the 21 of January in 1979 and is known artistically as Melendi. He is a Spanish artist and a composer that plays rumba flamenca, pop , and alternative rock.
When he was young he studied at the IES Alfonso II and met the Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso, to whom he dedicated a song that was titled The Nano. Nowadays he has two sons Carlota and Marco .
